Philanthropy Associate

In a new role, the Phil­an­thropy Asso­ciate will sup­port CHI’s nascent Busi­ness Devel­op­ment and Phil­an­thropy team and play a crit­i­cal role in grow­ing a cul­ture of phil­an­thropy with­in the orga­ni­za­tion.

The Phil­an­thropy Asso­ciate will sup­port CHI’s over­ar­ch­ing strat­e­gy to enable a sus­tain­able oper­at­ing infra­struc­ture and cat­alyze phil­an­thropic sup­port as we aim to diver­si­fy rev­enue through insti­tu­tion­al, indi­vid­ual, gov­ern­ment, and cor­po­rate part­ner­ships and phil­an­thropy.

As a mem­ber of the Devel­op­ment team, you will facil­i­tate the dai­ly activ­i­ties of gift offi­cers and sup­port their fundrais­ing efforts by mon­i­tor­ing and cap­tur­ing fundrais­ing updates in a data­base of record (CRM), pulling fundrais­ing reports, and man­ag­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tions with exter­nal stake­hold­ers. This role will also man­age the Chief Exter­nal Engage­ment Officer’s cal­en­dar and sup­port her in coor­di­nat­ing pri­or­i­ties, assign­ments, meet­ings, and trav­el. Core respon­si­bil­i­ties will also include assist­ing with assem­bling research and pro­files on fun­ders in advance of donor meet­ings, cre­at­ing reg­u­lar fundrais­ing reports and oth­er data­base reports as need­ed, while con­tin­u­al­ly main­tain­ing, updat­ing, and cor­rect­ing data­base records on behalf of the Devel­op­ment team.

Philanthropy Manager

CHI is seek­ing a remote Phil­an­thropy Man­ag­er. The Phil­an­thropy Man­ag­er is respon­si­ble for fundrais­ing, plan­ning, orga­niz­ing, and man­ag­ing a donor port­fo­lio to secure five to sev­en-fig­ure char­i­ta­ble gifts for Cen­ter­ing Health­care Insti­tute. The pri­ma­ry objec­tives are to raise finan­cial sup­port by cul­ti­vat­ing rela­tion­ships with indi­vid­ual donors, cor­po­ra­tions, insti­tu­tions, gov­ern­ment, state and fed­er­al fun­ders, and foun­da­tions. Excep­tion­al com­mu­ni­ca­tion, nego­ti­a­tion, and orga­ni­za­tion­al skills are essen­tial in this role, as fundrais­ing man­agers work to align donors’ phil­an­thropic inter­ests with the orga­ni­za­tion’s goals, fos­ter­ing long-term part­ner­ships and finan­cial stability.

Coding and Billing Specialist

The Cod­ing and Billing Spe­cial­ist will pro­vide over­sight for CHI’s ini­tia­tives sup­port­ing health­care providers with billing and cod­ing edu­ca­tion, doc­u­men­ta­tion stan­dards, and reim­burse­ment opti­miza­tion. This new role is respon­si­ble for design­ing and scal­ing a robust frame­work of billing, cod­ing, and train­ing ser­vices that strength­en the sus­tain­abil­i­ty of the Cen­ter­ing mod­el of care.

This role is piv­otal in empow­er­ing CHI’s part­ner prac­tices by devel­op­ing com­pre­hen­sive edu­ca­tion­al resources, offer­ing tech­ni­cal guid­ance, and shap­ing inter­nal exper­tise. The Spe­cial­ist will lead col­lab­o­ra­tions with clin­i­cal, finan­cial, and oper­a­tional teams both inter­nal­ly and exter­nal­ly, ensur­ing best prac­tices are fol­lowed across a wide range of health­care set­tings, includ­ing FQHCs, aca­d­e­m­ic med­ical cen­ters, and mid­wifery practices.
