Webinar Navigating Personal Triggers in Centering Groups
Description

Have you ever been personally triggered by something a group participant says? How do we separate sensitive personal experiences and beliefs from getting in the way of facilitating group participants in a meaningful discussion around difficult topics? Join Sonja Pemberton, CHI Consulting Manager, who will discuss different types of triggers, why they occur and a facilitative technique to assist you in navigating these occurrences.

As Manager of the CHI Consultant Team, Sonja oversees and trains CHI consultants who provide implementation support services and training to Centering sites across the country. She has spent more than 25 years working with leaders and teams across various industries to navigate the challenges and complexities of system change. Sonja also serves as the co-chair of CHI’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

We have found that these discussions are more engaging and productive when every participant joins in from a video capable computer or mobile device. If you don't have video capability on your computer, you can download the Zoom app on your phone and access video and audio options from your phone. You can also join in from your cell or tablet. Thank you!
