The exciting news is that Centering continues to spread across the country and more and more sites are expanding to offer both CenteringPregnancy and CenteringParenting models of care. We greatly value our partnership with each of you and are committed to providing all of the tools and resources that you need to support your patients and staff as your Centering practice grows, in a format that is accessible, fun and easy-to-use.

This new portal was developed with input from many Centering partners and we hope that you are as excited about it as we are! We understand you may have questions and hope that the following FAQs provide you with clear answers.

  • New marketing tools and guides

    We understand that your marketing resources may be limited and we have created a series of guides to help you promote your Centering practice. This "toolkit" will be valuable as you explore new areas of digital marketing, get ready to write a press release, develop a presentation or add a Centering page to your health center's website. While we encourage you to use photographs of your patients in your Centering rooms, we have included many beautiful images and our new graphics for you to work with. And if you are using an old Centering logo or dated graphics, we would be so grateful if you would please update your materials!

    We will continue adding to this toolkit over the next few months, including resources and training materials that focus on patient recruitment and enrollment.

  • Tell me more about CenteringConnects

    CenteringConnects is an online community forum for Centering professionals. It’s a place where you can connect to ask questions, find and share resources, and benefit from the wisdom of others. Think of it as another virtual Centering group that you can access from any screen.

    Click here to view a brief video that walks you through the registration process and the basics of using CenteringConnects. With everything new it takes a short while to become familiar, but you'll soon see that the more you engage with the forum the greater the value to you.

What changes should I expect to see in the store?


  • New tools for managing your order history

    With the new portal store you will have the ability to manage all of your CHI orders online. You can view all orders or sort by specific people at your site. You'll be able to track orders in process and confirm order details, such as product quantities, billing and shipping information. Click one button to view, print or download your invoice. View the history of previous orders. All of this new information at your fingertips will enable you to better manage your current orders and plan for future purchases.

  • I was in a hurry and ordered the wrong product. What can I do?

    Our policy is that we do not accept product returns. Our experience is that products are often damaged by the time they return back to us and we are unable to resell them. The new store should eliminate unfortunate errors with clear prompts, pulldown selections for English or Spanish editions, and several review screens before your orders are complete. We encourage you to check your orders very carefully.

  • What is the CHI shipping policy?

    Please allow a minimum of 2-3 days for us to process your order.


    Please note that effective immediately we will charge shipping on all orders. This is a recent change from our previous policy, but given the rising costs of processing and shipping we felt that a cost-sharing approach with all of our partners - on both small and large orders - was the more equitable and right thing to do.


    If your site is located in the continental U.S. your order will generally be shipped UPS ground. The shipping fees are calculated at 5% of the value of your order, with a minimum charge of $10.00 applied to each order.


    Shipping charges for orders sent to Alaska and Hawaii are calculated at 8% of the order value, with a minimum charge of $10.00 applied to each order.

What about workshops?


  • I am excited to attend a workshop, but what if my schedule changes and I can't make it?

    Please note that workshop registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and your registration is not complete until payment is received. If the workshop fills up before your check payment arrives, we will have to return it to you and make plans for another workshop date.

    If you have to cancel, notify us in writing at least 14 days before the workshop date and you will be refunded 75% of the registration cost. Unfortunately, no refunds will be made for cancellation within 14 days of the workshop. If you are unable to attend, another person may attend in your place at no additional charge.

    If CHI cancels due to an official state of emergency or travel ban, workshop participants will receive a full refund. Workshops are generally still held during inclement weather, so please be thoughtful when making your arrangements.

  • What about hosting a workshop at my site?

    Please contact your Practice Services Representative for information and to coordinate an onsite workshop.
