Is your practice ready for Centering?
Join Wendy Pecoraro, FNP, and Aurora Moreno, MSW from Omaha Integrative Care to discuss an innovative Centering mindful lifestyle group that functions to support folks who live with a BMI of 30 or over. The group focuses on a shift in the way participants think of food, exercise, stressors, relationships and sleep and how they all fit together to build a foundation to support overall health and well-being.
Wendy Pecoraro is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a post-masters in Wellness and Health Promotion and a Certification in Lifestyle Medicine. Wendy’s practice is based on the Integrative Care Model, which is an approach that addresses the full range of physical, emotional, mental, social, spiritual, and environmental influences that affect a person’s health. She is also a contributing author and editor for The Integrative Practitioner and co-facilitator of the Omaha Chapter of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.
Aurora Moreno has a Masters in Social Work. She believes in the integration of social justice within an integrative practice to provide support for the whole person and is dedicated to exploring and addressing barriers to accessing services in order to provide integrative healthcare to all individuals. She uses trauma-informed approaches of support in working with clients.
