Webinar Centering Innovations - HIV Centering Groups
Description

The Centering model has been adapted by many of our partner sites to suit the needs of their unique populations. We are fortunate to have Judy Levison, MD, MPH join us from the Baylor College of Medicine. She will lead us in a discussion about the Harris Health System's experience with Centering groups for women living with HIV. Please join this Circle Up to hear Dr. Levison's story and to explore how Centering groups can be adapted to serve your patient population.

Dr. Judy Levison is a Professor in the Departments of Ob/Gyn and Family/Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. Since 2002 she has also been the physician coordinator of the Harris Health System Women’s Program in Houston, Texas, which provides obstetric and gynecologic care for women living with HIV. In 2013 she and her team initiated a pilot project that adapted the CenteringPregnancy® curriculum to address the needs of pregnant women living with HIV.

We ask that everyone join in from a video capable computer or mobile device. We have found that the discussions are more engaging and productive when everyone comes in to the group with their audio and video turned on. And if you don't have video capability on your computer, you can join in using a cell phone or tablet.
