Shante Walker is the Centering Pregnancy Coordinator at Grady Health System. In this position she manages both Emory and Morehouse School of Medicine Centering groups; co- facilitates eleven Centering groups per month, and acts as a liaison between community resources and Centering patients. Shante previously served as a prenatal case manager providing in- home social services to expecting and delivered woman in the community. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Social Work. She is also a trained post-partum doula and has obtained numerous certifications in maternal and child health. Shante’s passion is helping women thrive and feel empowered during their prenatal period and beyond. She has been married for 16 years, has 4 children, 3 girls and finally a boy!!!!
