Please join Dr. Caron Zlotnick and Raven Miller who will present current information on the prevalence and impact of postpartum depression as well as screening methods, prevention, and treatment of postpartum depression. Information will also be presented on the evidence-based ROSE intervention (Reach Out Stay Strong) to prevent postpartum depression and the potential opportunity for Centering sites to incorporate ROSE into their Centering groups.
Dr. Zlotnick is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Department of Medicine, and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She has been principal investigator on several NIH funded studies that include interventions to reduce and treat postpartum depression.
Raven Miller is the project coordinator for the ROSES Study at Michigan State University. She oversee the operational efforts to support the study and acts as a primary liaison for participating clinics and agencies.
